Dr Andrew Emerson is a nationalist patriot politician, published author and experienced healthcare professional. He has held several teaching posts, including that of Lecturer at the University of Reading. His work, Hospital Hostels, has been published in commercial book form by The Stationery Office, formerly Her Majesty’s Stationery Office.
Andrew is a former member of the British National Party, having joined that party in January, 2005. Prior to that he was a Labour Party activist for more than twenty years, having joined in 1981, at a time when it was the only party of any size that was committed to Britain’s withdrawal from the European Economic Community (EEC).
He represented the BNP as a candidate in two general elections, on both occasions outpolling a UKIP rival. He was fourth on the former party’s list for the European ‘parliament’ elections in the South East, in 2009.
Andrew also represented the BNP as a candidate in more than a dozen local authority elections and by-elections to district, city and county councils.
He has written more than twenty letters, promoting the BNP and its policies, which were published in various local newspapers. Two of these letters were awarded the Letter of the Month prize in that party’s now defunct Identity magazine.
Like his parents, Andrew is a former member of the Trafalgar Club. Between 2010 and 2013 he also published a very successful blog, entitled New Leadership.
“To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often”.
Andrew is proud that he always put his country before his party. He hopes he always will.
